August Breakfast Networking – August 26th 2010
We are hosting a breakfast networking event on August 26th at 8am in the Clonmel Park Hotel.
As with the June event, we will have a speaker and then attendees will have the opportunity to speak for approximately 60 seconds about their company. There will be plenty of time before the speaker and afterwards for informal meetings and networking.
The speaker this month is Sandy Metcalfe from the Institute of Professional Selling. Sandy will be asking the question ‘is your company utilising all of its sales opportunities?’
As usual, tea, coffee’s and pastries will be served.

Southern Tipperary Skillnet – Upcoming Training
Southern Tipperary Skillnet operated is an enterprise led training organisation. We can part fund training for your company through Southern Tipperary Skillnet. In the last two years we have provided training to over 200 local companies and are actively interested in speaking to new companies who have identified training needs.

Clonmel Chamber Diary & Membership Directory
Clonmel Chamber will publish the annual membership directory and diary in November. The publication, now in its fourth year, offers members the opportunity to highlight their business to key local decision makers.
Following feedback from members the 2011 publication will be A5 in size and day to a page. It will be on the desks of business and civic leaders for the entire year 2011. It will also be distributed to Chamber members, public representatives and other decision makers.
The publication will contain information about Clonmel Chamber and will have full contact details for each Chamber member. This is aimed at promoting local business.
The membership directory and diary is a high quality publication that is used year round.
We will be contacting potential advertisers shortly and do hope that you will consider advertising.
Clonmel Chamber Conference – November 12th 2010
Our conference will take place on November 12th. This year we have a very impressive line up of speakers including Minister Batt O’Keeffe TD, Richard Bruton TD, Michael Dempsey – Chairman of FAS, Avine McAnally – Small Firms Association, John Flahavan – CEO of Flahavan’s, Tony Keohane – CEO of Tesco Ireland, Pat Whelan – James Whelan Butchers and The Tipperary Food Producers Network and George Mordaunt – The Mordaunt Group.
